Shirdi is a small
village in western Maharashtra, which is best known for Shri Sai Baba Temple.
Shri Sai Baba is a saint and mystic who lived in 19th century. He spent
his later life in Shirdi where he performs various miracles in that village. He
taught a message of love to every people.
He is one of the most
famous saints in India. He never adhered to any religion, where he has both
Hindu and Muslim followers in India. His temple is famous tourist spot in
Shirdi that attracts devotes from all over the India and it attracts the foreigners.
There are tourist places in Shirdi other than Shri Sai Baba temple are Ellora
caves, kanyakumari ashram, shani-shinganapur and dwarkamayi mosque etc. Shirdi
is well connected with roads transport and railways, where people can find
